The traveling exhibition BACK TO THE ICE AGE  has the ambition to make visitors revisit the Danish landscape with new knowledge of how it was created from the first little snowflake to the giant movement of land.

ALL AGES IN ONE

The exhibition is a continuous narrative from the rise of the ice age and up to climate change today. A wall with graphic print binds the whole story together and small floor tableaux allow guests to interact with the different themes.

Through inspirational storytellers the visitors gain insight into today's research and the exhibition tells the story of how the Weichsel ice age sculpted the Danish landscape and how it influenced the life of animals, people and plants.

With a high degree of interactivity and packed with visual expressions and sounds of the huge glaciers who calve and birds in the plains the exhibition is filled with a dynamic atmosphere.

The exhibition relates to the fact that we do not know for sure what happened during the last ice age. The visitors can meet different researchers and see their different bids on what led to the situation we have today.
